Accepted Technology Library |
Highlights |
Library of Accepted Technologies
|
To facilitate the adoption of effective technologies for pollutant source control and remediation, the Department has created a standardized
process through which consultants, businesses and organizations can request an agency review of a proposed strategy. Proposals receiving a
favorable review will be included in a library of accepted technologies that will be published on the Department's website. It should be noted
that Departmental acceptance suggests that Agency experts believe a proposed technology has the potential to be effective in a specific application
but does not imply commercial endorsement or recommendation for use.
Applicants are encouraged to identify their technology's scope of application as clearly and narrowly as possible to ensure it is reviewed by
the appropriate subject area experts. Review of technologies directed at:
- industrial or domestic wastewater control or nutrient remediation in surface waters should be requested using the form and following the directions provided on the water page;
- ground or surface water issues involving petroleum products or solvents should be requested using the form and following the directions on the waste page; and
- air resource issues should be requested using the form and following the directions on the air page.
