One of the Florida State Clearinghouse's primary functions is to serve as the state's single point of contact
for the receipt of federal activities that require inter agency review, which includes activities subject to consistency
review under the Florida Coastal Management Program. This means that by submitting an application to the Clearinghouse,
the applicant receives a one-stop review by all appropriate state and regional agencies. At the end of the Clearinghouse
review, the applicant will be issued a clearance letter, which informs the applicant of
potential concerns or inconsistencies regarding the proposed activity. The clearance
letter will also include information on obtaining necessary state permits and will inform the applicant if there is
a need to submit additional information to an agency for review. Thus, the applicant is able to discover through the Clearinghouse what
would otherwise require contact with a multitude of agencies. The Public and Clearinghouse Applicants can access the public information about past and present projects reviewed by the Clearinghouse. Go to the Search page to query a project. Agency Users must login into the system prior to initiation of any action. To do so, enter your user name and password below. |
